Simon Azan

• Simon practiced during 11 years in top tier UK and French law firms in Paris (Ayache, Salama & Associés from 2007 to 2011, Salans from 2005 to 2007, Linklaters from 2000 to 2005). Simon seated during three years in the commission Best Practice Capital Développement de l'Association Française des Investisseurs en Capital (AFIC). He is the co-writer of Guide Pratique du Capital Développement de l'AFIC and of Private Equity Handbook 2005 (French section).

• Simon was admitted to the Paris bar in 2000 and holds a DEA de Droit Privé and a DESS de Droit des Affaires. Simon also graduated from Cornell University (USA) with an LL.M.

Emmanuel Cohen

• Emmanuel practiced as an attorney for more than 10 years and has worked in top tier U.S. and U.K. law firms in Paris and abroad (Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP (Paris and New York), 2005 to 2010; Linklaters (Paris and Bucharest), 2003 to 2005; and Arthur Andersen International (Paris), 2002). Emmanuel teaches company law at HEC Paris.

• Emmanuel holds a diplôme de Juriste Conseil en Entreprise (D.J.C.E.), a D.E.S.S. de Droit des Affaires et Fiscalité, and a Magistère Juriste d'Affaires, from the Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3, 2001. In addition, Emmanuel holds an LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. (USA), 2003.
